Owen Ziliak

For all Friday Night Sights spreads, Owen was responsible for logistical planning, gear distribution, photographer briefing, help with ingesting and captioning, image gathering, sequencing, toning, bloxing and longforming. Involved in but not primary contributor to print layouts. 

For the bridge destruction Owen was responsible  for reevaluating the existing web edit to translate in to a print spread. Owen looked through outtakes as well as full takes to find a diversity of images for the print spread. Once the images had been narrowed down, Owen worked side by side with a designer to put the page together. 

For Missouri's homecoming print spread, Owen took images that the paper's photographers had taken over the course of the last three days and put them all in the same contact sheet. From there, Owen selected images that widely represented the festivities that occured on campus that week before passing the images on to another editor that handled print design.
